The terms ‘handover inspection’ and ‘practical completion quality inspection’ are used interchangeably but refer to the same process; iBuild will always try to send our reports as quickly as possible, however, a one-hour timeframe is subject to on-site internet connectivity and cannot be guaranteed.
iBuild Handover Inspections conduct a visual inspection only and all reasonable effort is taken to report on apparent faults and defects at the time of the inspection. We do not inspect any part of the structure that is covered, inaccessible or unexposed and we are therefore unable to report that any part of the structure is free from defect. iBuild Handover Inspections do not check full specifications and do not become involved in contractual issues. The inspection report is a visual inspection only of the quality of finish to the building, and in no way a structural building or pest report.
